Forget sleep
It's time that won't stop for a wink
Two weeks today
She has made serfs of us all
Every hour a new story unfolds
Sudden discoveries, hidden subtleties revealed
Every moment springs a new idea for a comic strip
With us painted into the corners
And thus we become eager note-takers
What are parents if not chroniclers?
